Discovering King Tut's Tomb at Luxor Resort & Casino

Martin-Harris Construction transformed an existing multi-sport exhibition space into a fully immersive Egyptian artifact experience. Spanning over 10,600 SF—including 8,459 SF of exhibit space, a retail merchandise area, theater, virtual reality space, and administrative office—the project guides visitors through an engaging journey highlighting the story of King Tutankhamun. The exhibition features advanced lighting and audio-visual systems, with 16 lighting zones controlled from a central panel and integrated with the Intro Theater video to enhance storytelling. Custom display cases, immersive media, and life-like reconstructions allow guests to experience the tomb and treasures of King Tut with remarkable detail. The project also incorporated high-resolution surveillance cameras, emergency lighting, and fire protection systems to ensure visitor safety. Strategic logistics and coordination were required to deliver oversized artifacts and install the exhibit within a fully operational casino environment without disrupting hotel or guest operations. The result is a visually striking, technically sophisticated exhibition that blends education, entertainment, and immersive storytelling, demonstrating Martin-Harris’ expertise in complex, visitor-focused environments.
