Martin-Harris Construction transformed a former buffet space into a 25,000 SF immersive experience and live performance venue celebrating the life and legacy of Bob Marley. The venue offers a self-guided daytime tour through six themed galleries and an evening performance journey with live music, dance, and storytelling. A new retail store serves as both entry point and thematic introduction, while back-of-house areas provide full performer support and house electrical and data infrastructure. The project integrated advanced building systems, including an ETC Electronic Theatrical Control system for synchronized lighting, audio, and visual effects, enhanced fire sprinkler coverage, and ADA-compliant, noise-rated doors for both accessibility and acoustic isolation. Owner-provided theatrical features, such as the Jamming Tree centerpiece and Iron Lion projection wall, were seamlessly coordinated into the base building structure, electrical, and life safety systems. Delivered within an active resort environment, the project required precise scheduling, offsite staging, and phased execution to minimize operational impacts, resulting in a visually stunning, technically advanced venue that blends immersive storytelling with exceptional craftsmanship.
