PROJECT UPDATE: CITY OF LAS VEGAS COURTHOUSE

Having outgrown its space in the Clark County Regional Justice Center, the City of Las Vegas entered into a public-private partnership with The Molasky Group of Companies to develop this new, 4-story, 140,000 SF facility. The building is in downtown’s Civic and Business District and was designed to visually tie with the neighboring City Hall and Justice Center. It was also designed to meet the requirements for LEED Silver certification and the AIA Academy of Architecture for Justice: Sustainable Justice Guidelines.

MHC’s Major Projects Team provided CMAR services for this project which includes 7 municipal courtrooms, public spaces, offices and support spaces for the Judges, court administration, City Attorney, and Marshalls. It has a single-story underground, secure parking level with 16 stalls and a subbasement level has a sally port for prisoner transportation.
