The UMC ReVITALize Project represents the largest campus enhancement initiative in University Medical Center’s history, transforming the nearly century-old healthcare institution into a more welcoming, modern, and healing environment. Delivered through a CMAR partnership, the project spans UMC’s 26-acre Las Vegas campus and includes renovations to nine buildings, creating a cohesive and revitalized identity across the medical center.
The extensive modernization effort features large-scale façade upgrades, new exterior lighting and signage, hardscape and landscape improvements, and the creation of two therapeutic healing gardens designed to enhance the patient and visitor experience. The project also includes the addition of a new campus entrance to improve accessibility and circulation throughout the facility.
Developed in collaboration with Grand Canyon Development Partners and Friedmutter Group, Martin-Harris Construction is helping bring UMC’s long-term vision to life through strategic planning, phased construction, and careful coordination within an active healthcare environment. The transformation modernizes the campus while preserving the institution’s legacy, creating a more inviting, patient-centered destination that will serve Southern Nevada for generations to come.
