Martin-Harris expanded the existing building to add a full commercial kitchen, kid’s room, and a full fitness center with offices. The commercial kitchen features all new commercial equipment, prep and storage areas, ice machine, soda dispensers, includes a laundry area with washer and dryers and opens to a 500 SF covered outdoor seating area with a walk-up service window. For the exterior, a new standalone masonry building was constructed to house men’s and women’s restroom/locker rooms, a lifeguard office, electrical room, storage rooms, and an exterior pool equipment yard with pool pumps, equipment pit, heaters and equipment. New shade canopies were erected at the building entrance and surrounding pool deck. A variety of family-friendly poolside enhancements include Ping-Pong tables, foosball and an 18-foot TV screen for movie nights under the stars. The brand new family pool features spraying fountains and a dual-sided waterslide, bordered by 9 new Las Vegas-style cabanas, each with power, data, cable hookups and lush furnishings to keep parents comfortable while their children play. The existing lap pool was re-plastered along with the existing jacuzzi. A stadium tennis court was built with raised seating area under the extended new building roof.
