Sierra Vista High School

This CMAR project was undertaken in two (2) phases for pre-construction and construction services to remodel the Western High-Tech location of the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) to accommodate their expanding HVAC Program. The CSN HVAC program was located in three separate buildings across three different CSN campuses. The goal of this project was to consolidate the program into one location to better serve the students and make for a more efficient education facility.

The 26,430 SF tenant improvement includes new HVAC learning lab spaces, classroom spaces, offices and storage. This scope of work required demolition of some existing walls, doors, windows, ceilings and flooring; a major upgrade to existing mechanical and electrical systems to accommodate additional loads from lab equipment; new walls, doors, windows, ceilings and flooring; and structural improvements to accommodate a new overhead door.

The campus remained fully functional throughout the course of construction, testifying to the quality of Martin-Harris’s Safety Program and the ability to keep workers, students, staff and the visiting public safe during an occupied renovation.
