Pinyon Apartments is an award-winning affordable housing development located in Reno, Nevada, providing much-needed housing near major employment centers, transportation corridors, and downtown Reno. Martin-Harris Construction served as the general contractor, delivering this 245,350 SF, high-density multifamily community on a 2.9-acre site.

The development consists of two five-story residential buildings totaling 252 affordable housing units, connected by skybridges to a five-story enclosed parking structure with 551 parking spaces. Residents enjoy a variety of thoughtfully designed amenities, including a landscaped courtyard with a playground and grilling areas, fitness center, yoga room, community gathering spaces, and a sunlit two-story entry.

Pinyon Apartments was recognized with the AGC Nevada Pinnacle Award for Contractor Excellence in the Private Sector Over $10 Million category, highlighting the project’s exceptional execution, quality, and positive impact on the Reno community. By providing affordable housing in a transit-accessible location, the development helps address Northern Nevada’s growing housing needs while supporting long-term economic growth and community development.
