The Jane Cizik Garden Place, owned by The Women’s Home organization, is an 79,000 SF, 88-unit apartment development that provides permanent, safe, and affordable housing for employed women who are gaining their social independence. Designed by Jackson & Ryan Architects in Houston, Texas, the facility includes 87 one-bedroom apartments, a two-bedroom apartment for the property manager, a common building, and a tranquil courtyard with extensive landscaping features. The common building contains supporting offices, a computer lab, living area and an exercise room.

Located on three acres, the complex offers a protected green courtyard for resident use and easy access to a local park, transportation hubs, shopping, schools and other social infrastructure. The complex was awarded the LEED Silver certification and Blue Star certification and is nationally recognized economic model of sustainable nonprofit housing.
