CATAMARAN/BRIOVA RX

This Design-Build project consists of a 109,290 SF pharmaceutical distribution and office facility. The distribution area comprises 50,792 SF and the office is located in a 2 story section of the building comprising 58,498 SF. Construction is tilt up exterior wall panels with steel deck, bar joists, TPO roofing on an approximate 6 acre site. There is a main entry feature with glass and metal wall panels. The project is being built concurrently with the tenant’s TI contractor from Chicago, Clune Construction. Martin-Harris is building the building shell, mezzanine infrastructure, elevators, all on & off-site improvements, the fulfillment area, the loading dock offices and back of house areas. Clune Construction is handling all the office tenant improvements, the construction of the walk-in cooler/freezers and tenant’s low voltage systems.

The building is one of the first projects to be constructed in the UNLV Harry Reid Research & Technology Park. Catamaran Rx will house a workforce of 450 qualified, versatile, flexible and diverse employees. The project provided approximately 200 construction jobs. Governor Brian Sandoval hailed Catamaran LLC as “exactly the kind of company we’re trying to attract to Nevada!” Catamaran, a public company expecting $20 billion in sales next year, has vowed they’ll help recruit more companies in the health services industry to Southern Nevada.
