Our team at Martin-Harris transformed the shuttered Lucky Dragon Casino into the Ahern Hotel and Convention Center, creating versatile spaces for conventions, live events, fine dining, and entertainment. The renovation included converting the gaming floor into meeting and expo spaces, reconfiguring the buffet and prep kitchens, adding a pizza kitchen, upgrading lounges and a coffee bar, and transforming a spa into an upscale comedy club. Private gaming rooms became meeting spaces, and a former Chinese restaurant was converted into a multi-function bar and banquet area with three private dining rooms. The redesign replaced the previous Asian-themed aesthetic with a modern, conventional look while retaining the building’s iconic red exterior, delivering a refreshed, functional, and inviting venue for guests and events.
