Don G. Stephens, CCIFP has an extensive background in the construction industry both in accounting and management and the knowledge to make your experience with Martin-Harris Construction, Texas a positive one.  Prior to joining MHC Texas Stephens was one of the founders and principle partners of State Construction, LP in Houston, Texas.  Stephens served as CFO of the company, founded in 2001. In 1976, he received a BBA in Accounting from Sam Houston University. Since then, Don has worked as CFO and Vice President for three different general contractors over the past 33 years.

Stephens was elected National President of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) in May 2002.  He has served as the Chairman of the The Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals (ICCIFP) in 2005-2006.  He holds the certification as CCIFP since 2004.   
As a member of The Construction Financial Management Association for over 25 years he has served as a member of the Executive Committee of CFMA from 1996 to 2004.

 
A current member of the CFMA investment committee, ICCIFP testing committee and involved as a mentor with the CFMA national mentoring program.
