Steve Lords has an extensive accounting/management background in the construction field and brings the knowledge and contacts to accommodate Martin-Harris Construction's growth. Prior to joining MHC, Lords was Operations Controller for the South Central Operations Division of TYCO International-SimplexGrinnell in Houston, Texas. Lords notes, "I’ve enjoyed the "downsizing" from a multi-billion dollar company to a multi-million dollar company because it allows me to participate more completely in the daily workings of Martin-Harris Construction, and I enjoy the more direct interfacing with the financial community." He also enjoys the positive business attitude and dynamic growth of Southern Nevada.
Lords is a member of NAIOP, CFMA, AICPA and AGC, Las Vegas.  He sits on both the UNLV & CSN advisory board, the Boy Scout Council Committee and is the Boy Scout Council Camping Chair.
